Homemade Organic Dog Food Recipe

Organic Peanut Butter Cookies
These cookies are a great way to sneak fish oil into their diet. Fish oil can help improve the dog’s coat, making it soft, shiny and healthier.
Many commercial brands of peanut butter contain unhealthy additives and hydrogenated oils. Choose organic peanut butter or better yet you can make your own peanut butter using peanut oil and raw peanuts. Process the mixture in your own food processor.
Ingredients:
• 2 cups of white or wheat flour (if your dog has no wheat allergies)
• 1/3 cup peanut butter (smooth)
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 cup rolled oats
• ½ tablespoon fish oil
• 1 ½ cups water
Preparation:
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour and oats together.
• Pour in 1 cup of water and blend until smooth.
• Add into the mixture, peanut butter, fish oil and honey. Mix until all the ingredients are well blended.
• Slowly add the remaining water until the mixture has a doughy and thick consistency.
• Lightly flour a cooking surface.
• Roll the dough onto the cooking surface to create a ¼ inch of thick sheet.
• Use cookie cutter to create desired shapes.
• Place cookies onto a baking sheet.
• Bake the cookies for 40 minutes.
• Set aside to cool completely before feeding.
