Ingredients:
• I medium banana
• 1 cup minced carrots
• 1 small sweet potato
• 2 cups of whole wheat flour (use white if your dog has allergies)
• 1/3 cup water
• 1 cup rolled oats
Preparation:
• Cook the potatoes in the microwave until the inside is soft for 8-10 minutes.
• Set aside to cool.
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Mash potato and banana in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
• Add in the carrots, oats and flour.
• Roll the dough onto a lightly floured surface until dough is 1/8 inch thick.
• Cut dough into strips.
• Place it on a baking sheet and cook for 25 minutes.
• Store left over strips in the fridge.
The strips can be fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Tip: do not worry about overcooking the potato. Softer potatoes are easy to mash.
